Exposed Aggregate Concrete Polishing System

Armourtech Master Piece Concrete Floor

Floor finishing with Armourtech Exposed Aggregate Floor, Hardware Floor, Marble Floor or Cream Floor.

Diamond Polished Concrete produces a beautiful, durable floor, but is labor intensive, consumable-intensive that can exceed some budgets. Using the unique properties of ARMOURTECH Colloidal Silica Technology a new diamond-polishing alternative has been perfected.

ARMOURTECH Exposed Aggregate Floor
Follows the standard polishing process but reduces the amount of diamond grinding required and higher gloss finish with lower grit abrasives can be achieved providing significant savings.

ARMOURTECH Hardware Floor
A process where new, hard-troweled floors can simply be cleaned little or no grinding necessary.
The Armourtech Hardware Floor when burnished produces a near-polished gloss at a fraction of the cost.

ARMOURTECH Marble Floor
Low cost and time process that produces a marble like appearance with simple burnishing with Resin pads.

ARMOURTECH Cream Floor
Is a low cost and time process that produces a Cream like appearance with simple burnishing with Resin pads.

All the ARMOURTECH processes are suitable for all concrete floors and are also suitable to be used on colored concrete and will not hinder the application of adhesives or paints.

The quality and level of Diamond Polishing is always the starting point of a good polished concrete floor. Discover how to reduce cost and time, boost performance and offer new options for floor finishes you didn’t know were possible with ARMOURTECH Solutions. Contact us to discuss the best option

Pinhole Filling using ARMOURTECH Densifier
When the Armourtech process is used the Armourtech Densifier quickly builds up density in the surface and may actually fill in finer scratch patterns.
ARMOURTECH Densifier can be used as a grinding fluid while polishing Wet.

  • Dilute Densifier concentrate with clean water anywhere from 1:4 to 1:10
  • Create a slurry in front of the machine
  • Do a couple of steps with the same slurry. Extract, clean
  • Densify as normal
  • Continue polishing to finishing grit
  • Extract, Clean
  • Burnish dry

By using ARMOURTECH Densifier before the 80grit step, helps reduce micro pitting.
or
Add diluted ARMOURTECH Densifier as a flood coat and leave it there overnight. The silica will bond with itself and fill capillaries and pores in the concrete. This will improve the Polishing process and results.

A concrete floor placed with ARMOURTECH PRO Float  gives you the best – and most predictable – canvas from which to start your Master Piece concrete floor.
